โ€œAt least people from my country Ghana would have something positive to say about Kasoa for the first time .โ€ She jokingly said while being asked the country of her origin.

She went on to thank her husband, who was her college love and friends who stood by her and fueled her success over the years.

โ€œI think because I take good care of my husband, that had given me a good precedent for me becoming the best urology nurse. Nursing to me has always about good care. If I take care good care of my patientโ€™s catheter, itโ€™s because my husbandโ€™s dirty plates are cared forโ€. When asked how she has been juggling her profession with marriage, she said jokingly.

Abigail urged Ghanaian nurses worldwide, regardless of where they find themselves to keep being the very best, theyโ€™ve always been. She has used the platform to urge the government back home to make investing in the countryโ€™s health system a topmost priority, as the systemic failure leads to the brain drain and the exodus of nurses into other countries.
