Staffs of Hohoe regional hospital mocks a newly sphygmomanometer donated to them by the matron of the hospital.

The donation made to one of the night staffs on duty was welcomed by hostility and amusing comments from the staffs.

Some of the staff expressed their greatest dissatisfactions about the working tool which was banded due to mercury poisoning of the staff’s health in it’s usage.

Some of the staffs questioned whether the donation was a step forward or a ten steps backward since everyone and the public and the hospital administrations is calling for an upgrade of the facility in terms of infrastructure and to be in tuned with modernization equipment.

After the viral video of the chief of the Hohoe township, there has been a decline in attendance of the public. One staff lamented that the OPD and the emergency ward had recorded the lowest rate of clients. The emergency ward which floods till patients are nursed in chairs had now become a sleeping grounds for ants and the NURSES themselves.

Corporate public commentators who were privy to the donations expressed vehemently that the donation made by the matron to the FEMALE ward is just them adding salt to their injury and the highest forms of disrespect and disregard to the NURSES and the public as a whole hence the need to do better .

The NURSES of the ward sympathetically encouraged the public, shareholders and NGO’s both near and far to quickly intervene for the betterment of healthcare delivery as they are passionate about the healthcare delivery, but the hospital organogram seems to be dancing to archaic tunes of health care delivery.
